Nature
Let’s go to the woods
get lost for a few hours
Wander in the garden of fairies and magic dust
Fall asleep to the rippling of the creek beside us as the sun kisses our fingertips lightly beckoning us to let what we hold on so tightly to go
Let’s rest in the womb of mama nature
Fall asleep under a great oak tree and hear her sweet soft lullaby rock us to sleep
We’ll watch the ducks nearby dive in and out of the water, quack at each other playfully
Like how my sister and I play
fight each other, laugh, and then fight again in a never ending cycle
Will you still love me when the sun goes down?
We’ve spent all day in the forest just to reach the end of the road
Train tracks blocking our ways
Synchronistic crossroads await
Sadness and pain
Contentment
Happiness and joy
Is there room for it all?
A duality of light and dark
I stare into your brown eyes and want to go deeper
To know what lies beyond and through them like I know the texture of your skin
You are the ocean I want to dive in again and again
You’re the face I wanna see when I wake up in the morning
I stare into your deep brown eyes and see infinite skies of love
You are beautiful
